Finally Sent The Email

I finally sent out that email that I've been postponing for a few weeks now.

There's a date set for the meeting with my supervisor to discuss some of my concerns that the variables I'm investigating might have a very limited link with one another.

He seems to think I can still do it from his email, but I'm still worried that I don't have the mental capacity to work it out in one week.

Anyhow, I'm just glad I finally got it over with! I've been putting off thinking about my thesis for more than a month, but I have no more excuses and need to move my ass on this.

I'm passionate about my topic, and the more I research it, the more interesting it becomes to me, but perhaps my perfectionism is coming to play here, along with the doubts and the fear of failure.

This is a gentle reminder to myself that it'll be okay. I've been doing the work, and my supervisor is here to guide me through the process. This is something I'm genuinely interested in, and while the outcome might not end up getting published, it will still be mine.

You don't get a lot of opportunities to work on one long writing/research project for a whole year, so this could be that one chance to immerse yourself in academia and enjoy it right before leaving this era.
