Default Apps for 2024 (a little late...)

I love tech - and a huge part of it has been trying to figure out my suite of apps and programs that I use day-to-day as a student, someone who works part-time, and have a few hobbies here and there.

This is a whole of stuff! It's pretty interesting to see how others like Digitally Nick's list have repeating things like Obsidian, and that does inspire me to think a little on how I approach the usage of the applications I gravitate towards.

I like it when I'm able to integrate things in one but found that sometimes that just doesn't happen. I was in a short phase of wanting to build out a PKM system that could combine everything I used: Google Calendar, Todoist, and notes into some kind of all-in-one combo with plugins, etc. It's certainly doable but I did not enjoy it at all. Back to the basics!

As I'm writing this is in early 2025, I believe the list won't be changing too drastically for the coming year - but it'd be interesting to see if there's any new applications coming in.

Thank you for reading, and if you would like to share any thoughts or if you have any questions at all, feel free to leave a comment :)
